The Education Crisis
The System No Longer Serves Us

They have failed.
Okay Soldiers,
We live in a time saturated with information yet lacking common sense, we face a crisis in our education system. We've been led to believe that the path to success is linear, predictable, and universally applicable. But ask yourself – has this one-size-fits-all approach truly served us?
The Problem WE Face
We're taught to memorize and regurgitate, not to question or understand deeply.
The fundamental skills that are required to have a successful, fulfilling life – critical thinking, the pursuit of passion, and the art of communication – are suspiciously absent from school lessons.
This oversight has left many wandering at the crossroads of their personal and professional lives, clutching degrees that promise much but deliver little in terms of real-world readiness and satisfaction.
We are seeing the effects of this failure play out in our communities.
The Effects of Their Failure
The consequences of the downward spiral are far-reaching. I don’t know about you but I don’t like paying for the mistakes of others.
A generation of potential innovators, thinkers, and leaders are trapped in a cycle of routine, not really thinking about their actions.
People who protest for ideas they don’t understand. People who can’t explain why they hate someone or some thing. It’s better to call it the “programming” system.
The spark of curiosity, the thrill of discovery, and the satisfaction of mastery are replaced with the monotony of uninspired learning and the pursuit of arbitrary metrics of success.
My Experience
I had good grades in school. I suffered from this programming. Overweight, no entrepreneurial spirit, no interest in the world outside my little bubble.
That changed when I started to take my education into my own hands. It started with learning about health and fitness because we all know that schools don’t teach anything about proper nutrition.
After I started to lose fat and gain muscle, I started to get more compliments and gain more confidence. It’s funny how that happens. This was the start of taking my future into my own hands.
We’ll talk about the specific in later issues. But, I have developed a list of things that you should focus on if you want to be successful in our new society.
Critical Thinking: Learn to analyze the world around you, challenge ideas, and develop your understanding from the ground up.
Find Your Passion: Discover the intersection of joy and genius that lies within your true interests. It's here that motivation becomes inexhaustible, and work transforms into play. Sure, you can be successful in an area that you’re not passionat about but why?
Monetize Your Passion: Bridge the gap between doing what you love and supporting the life you desire. I’ll share insights from my journey of monetizing my passion in future articles.
The Blacklist is more than a newsletter; it's your roadmap to liberation from an outdated system. I will be sharing my experiences and the insights I gain on my journey to break out of the system I find myself trapped in.
